I hope you had a fantastic Easter time.
I visitied my family in Bavaria wich was really nice but not exactly restful. Kids and Kittens, egg hunting and Easter Brunching, Nightime guided tour through my brother-in-laws workplace and NES tour down memory lane on my sisters WII and far to much great food at my mothers house. I saw most of the clan but didn't manage to show my sweetheart the places I love most because I really didn't bring the right clothes for snow... to bad.

On Easter monday I managed to squeeze in a short visit to lyorn who had invited everyone to an Easter brunch (another one ^^). Luckily she could fit us in ecause of a failiure in comunications she was sure I wouldn't come. So I got to see many old and dear friends, sadly not all of them. I hate always having so little time.

I stumbled over the funniest ad I saw this year maybe ever.

I am quite fine thanks.
Even if I could not sleep tonight for the longest time. So I watched tv untill Comedy Central stopped and Nickelodeon took over the frequency at 6 in the morning. I watched two episodes of "My little Pony" and quite liked it... Do I have to fear for my sanity? Thank goodness the next series after the sweet little critters was so boring I finallly fell asleep. Of course at 9:45 the phone rang so my sister could tell me of the latest accidents my nephew was involved in... jep definitly her son. And she is still the very last person I want to be alone with in case of a medical emergeny.

I have started to draw again... jay me. I am working on a cover for one of lyorns Sci-Fi storys. It is a lot of fun. The story is set on Mars in 1985 (?) in a setting that had been originaly written in the 50s. So I have real Mars Footage from Rover dear, 1980s fashion and Sci-Fi Tech from the 50s. Brilliant? Great? Oh yeah!
I finally putt some real use on the Inuos4 and I love it. To bad I can't get some of the funktions on the extra button to work, they would be a real help. If anyone has some tips on how to get the layer and brush size select to work... don't hesitate^^

I have been told I have neglected my Journal. True, so true.

My new job is taking quite a bit out of me, but I enjoy it immensely. And since LJ is not on the list of forbidden sites... I guess I can write a bit more from time to time.

I still haven't finished moving in. And the upper level is nearly impassable from unpacked boxes. I intend to get much done today wen I'm off work. Yeah I'm at work... Open Sunday.

Everything works out fine, just to slow. ^^

More of a fresh start.

I moved to my new place and it is a really sweet place. There are quite a few things that have to be done but is is going to be very cozy.
Tomorrow a plumber comes to the place to repair a hand full of stuff. And the rest will be repaired soon.
The kitchen is tiny but I have not only a bath tube but a big balcony as well. The only real problem is... my washing machine doesn't fit through the flats door. Whe I bought the damn thing it seemed like a good idea to buy a 7 kg extra large machine so I could do all my laundry at once. (Well and it was very cheap) Now I need a slim top loading machine... yay.

The new job works really well. It is of course a bonus, that I only have to roll down the stairs to go to work.

Sometimes change roles over you like a tsunami wave and all you can do is grab hold of something and hang on.
For me it is worst when it is good and bad all mixed together.

I guess I'll start with the really good news. I am writting this from my new place of work. YAY. The job is, hopefully well paid and rather easy, I hope as well.

The bad is I have to move in 2 weeks, and I haven't found a new place, yet.... meep.

My favorite neighbor died yesterday. I knew it would happen soon, and I my head feels so full of things, that I can' feel the pain yet. Her last 2 months were terrible and her family did everything to "make her as comfortable as possible". I will miss her.

Another positive thing is, that we finally found a location for the flashback scene of our movie and we start filming at the end of August. I should feel exited but I I am emotionally flat lined.

There is more, but I don't want to start whining...

It is just far to much at the moment.

It has been a while and the whole filming process is dragging on like 10 year old honey. But with summer our possibilities have returned.

After a long long day of creating teeny tiny icons ... boooooring... I managed to go over the Lyorns beta reading, she gave me yesterday. So here a teeny tiny story I wrote 2 days ago. have fun.
It is still in German, because it is not much of a story, an not quite worth the effort... but if anyone is interested, tell my an I translate the whole thing.

The new bid went out today. I hope everyone keeps to their deals. Another Job has lined up today. YAY me.

At the moment I am working on an background illustration for the web site I'm working on to get back into coding and creating.

Playing around got me not far but to some nice color thingies...

I have slept for three nights straight. I feel almost awake. ;)
No panic attack for four days. The only thing is I seem unaccustomed to real food anymore... oh well ... will get better.
